Abstract

Teacher educators have a critical role to prepare pre-service teachers by increasing the awareness and attitude of technology use. The purpose of this study is to understand how teacher educators use technology in pre-service mathematics teachers’ content and methods courses to be a role model with their use of technology. In this multi-case study, four mathematics teacher educators were interviewed and observed for their practice. The findings suggest that the teacher educators’ degree of technology integration differs based on their background and skills on using technology and their way of integrating technology varies based on the nature of course and content.
