Abstract
This proposal describes the early stages of a study designed to assess the impact of providing field experiences for preservice teachers enrolled in an educational technology course. Some potential impacts discussed include an increase in ability and confidence among preservice teachers related to their use of educational technology in the classroom. In addition, the impact of using educational technology on the motivation to learn by elementary students is discussed.
