Abstract

This is a pilot project that involves two principal initiatives. One is to provide fully transferable, first-year university health courses to students in remote First Nations communities, via the Internet, in a culturally sensitive environment. The second is to create a virtual network for health practitioners, both traditional and Western, in the same communities to leverage the expertise in each for the benefit of all.
