Abstract

The authors illustrate how a chance three-person collaboration facilitated introduction of computer technology into a writing center. An ongoing and constantly developing understanding between the writing center director, an instructional designer, and the technical coordinator allowed the introduction of computers to be an intentional process. Each brings a unique perspective, and each plays an essential role. They discuss changes in the writing center as a product of their collaboration.
