Abstract
Under ordinary circumstances in school jurisdictions, ensuring effective professional development initiatives for teachers can be a challenge. When you append distance, complex advanced technologies, and a diverse environment of learners, teachers and cultures spread out over a vast land mass, the endeavor becomes even more of a challenge. This paper describes the professional development approach and related evaluation components of a multifaceted broadband enabled project to change the way education is offered in remote rural areas.
