Abstract

The author will demonstrate a computer algebra system called LiveMath Maker that can generate HTML files with all computational and graphical interactivity intact. By interactivity, we mean that viewers of these HTML files can change values of variables and constants in mathematical expressions and see, in real time, corresponding graphs and computation results change within standard web browsers. The use of this program in our mathematics department has made many undergraduate mathematics majors excited about building their own interactive mathematics web sites as part of their portfolios for future job opportunities in education.
