Abstract
Rural areas are picturesque but often have a lack of access to education and training facilities. E-Learning provides a mechanism to bridge this gap. The A-VIEW E-Learning framework provides live interactive training and a social environment for the participants to cooperate and learn. In this paper we describe how the A-VIEW framework is being adapted and deployed for social applications in rural areas.
