Abstract
Imagine a differentiated learning environment where motivating students to learn is as simple as opening the classroom door. What if you could play the role of facilitator as your students use creativity and innovation, communication and collaboration, research, critical thinking, problem solving, decision-making, concepts and technology operations to show mastery of content material and can later be used to help teach other students around the world? It is possible to create such a learning environment, where high school students find purpose in their learning. This paper will discuss the importance of teachers developing effective strategies to teach the fundamentals of leadership, accountability, adaptability, personal productivity, self-direction, and social responsibility.
